  • The toxic non-sense of identity politics

    Date: 2017.07.26 | Category: in english | Response: 3

“Identity Politics” are a non-sense that has, for at least 15 years, tortured the intellects of people who lean on the left side of the political spectrum. The term itself appears sometime around the 70s, but still, never before have they been such an integral part of the mainstream narrative as during the latest U.S. elections. What is equally impressive; they keep on being a central part of the political debate despite their failure to rally voters against a genuinely bad candidate such as Trump. And further more: They can be used as a weapon of social interpretation (and obedience), equally from the most broad deep state (see pussy hat march etc.) to the most mundane interpersonal debate. This article is an attempt to dissociate the imaginary from the historical content of this non-sense. διαβάστε τη συνέχεια...

  • And a happy new year 2007

Why 2007? Because the crisis started that year. Most of the world perceives its spacetime reality so distorted, that P.K. Dick would smile with the irony. Out of this distortion we, the soothsayers, earn our fame, our glory, and our houri virgins. διαβάστε τη συνέχεια...

  • Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Syria and Europe Part II (November 2015)

The primary goal of Russia’s involvement with the Syrian war, an involvement which is now more obvious after the mobilization of its air forces near Latakia during September and the start of air strikes in October, is not only to aid Assad and friends in the Syrian battlefront, but rather to take a political stance inside Europe itself. This stance would, sooner or later (more sooner than later as we see), bring positive results to Russia. διαβάστε τη συνέχεια...

Though I always enjoy strolling between various worldviews, I’m very often forced to return to the views of the Braudelist school of thought because they have the tendency to be proven time and again accurate.

Braudelists are some eccentric guys who believe διαβάστε τη συνέχεια...

Our beloved isis- or daash (Dulat al-Islam fi al-Iraq wal-Sham) as it is better known by locals- is following in footsteps la grande peur of the jacobin revolution. With public displays of terror and a narrow interpretation of who is on our side (ie who is a good muslim), is going about in central and nothern Iraq making new friends. διαβάστε τη συνέχεια...

Like many other peoples, the Greeks believe they’re unique. It’s just as true in regard to their good qualities as their bad. That’s why the Greek crisis has been presented in official narratives as purely a Greek phenomenon. But the question is how can you continue to pull that off with the global economy in collapse the past three years? διαβάστε τη συνέχεια...
